The Iceman returns, Finland wins gold and Helsinki makes headlines

Finland's first science satellite has successfully launched into space. The satellite, Foresail-1, collects data about near-Earth radiation and tests a new plasma brake designed to help to bring small satellites out of orbit. The Finnish Centre of Excellence in Research of Sustainable Space is behind the project and includes teams from Aalto University , the University of Helsinki, the University of Turku and the Finnish Meteorological Institute.
